Auto-sensing auxiliary input: Allows external audio sources (a TV or DVD player, e.g.) to play through Bose speakers located in the same room, automatically.
Once the auto-sensing feature is activated by the user, the SA-3 amplifier automatically switches to the local source when the local source is turned on. (This can also be achieved manually by pressing the "Local" button on the Lifestyle® system remote control.)
Mini-DIN expansion input and output easily connects multiple Lifestyle amplifiers to the Lifestyle R media center in a daisy chain, whenever two or more pairs of speakers are desired in a specific location (for example, outdoors or in a large hall).
Wired Volume Control (VCA) input provides connection for an on-wall volume control (can be used with or in place of a Lifestyle radio frequency remote control).
